Advocate and Senior Corporate Lawyer/Real Estate Lawyer of our firm, Maria is a keenproblem solver with excellent communication and presentation skills, who is always invested in understanding the clients’ individual and business objectives and the key issues they face, which in turn enable her to develop and implement professional practical and effective solutions.  

Maria has graduated from London South Bank University in 2008 where she obtained her LLB (Hons) Degree with Honours. In 2010, she was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association. In 2017, she was awarded with a Master of Law in International Commercial Law from European University Cyprus.

Maria has attained an extensive 16-year experience working for a well-respected law firm where she was leading the Real Estate Department.

She was also involved in civil litigation with emphasis on Commercial and Corporate issuesand especially in international corporate/commercial litigation cases, worldwide freezing injunctions (Mareva) and search orders (Norwich Pharmacal/Anton Piller Orders).

Her main practice areas at our firm include the handling of complex corporate and commercial contracts for Cypriot and international clients as well as mergers & acquisitions,cross border conversions, trust formations, representation and counselling of local and foreign clients in transactions relating to asset and share acquisitions, shareholders’ agreements, share and purchase agreements, assignment agreements, loan agreements,employment agreements. Additionally, Maria handles the real estate transactions which mainly involve client representation in negotiations, immovable property due diligence, drafting/reviewing of sale and purchase agreements, assignment agreements, cancellation agreements, tenancy agreements and assisting up until the successful completion of the transactions.

She is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association she speaks Greek and English.
